Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX), a division of Comcast NBCUniversal, continues to redefine themed entertainment. From the debut of a must-see tram tour 60 years ago, to the creation of award-winning attractions and groundbreaking themed lands, Universal continues to raise the bar through innovation, unimaginable storytelling and game-changing technology.
In 2025, UDX will unveil Universal Epic Universe. Epic Universe will present a level of theme park immersion that is unmatched – transporting guests to expansive worlds featuring more than 50 awe-inspiring attraction, entertainment, dining and shopping experiences that come together to create an unforgettable adventure that is nothing short of epic.
The addition of Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park will also transform the award-winning resort into a weeklong vacation destination filled with even more compelling experiences.
Immersive Worlds at Universal Epic Universe
Epic Universe invites guests to explore five vibrant worlds filled with extraordinary and culturally relevant adventures that go beyond their wildest imaginations.
Celestial Park
At the heart of the park and the first world guests will encounter is Celestial Park. With acres of rolling gardens, chasing waterways and strolling pathways, Celestial Park will put the “park” back in “theme park.” Universal Orlando revealed even more detail about the wonders to enjoy while exploring this world. Celestial Park will also be the gateway to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe through a set of majestic portals.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
Guests will discover a different era of the wizarding world in an all-new land that blends 1920s wizarding Paris from Warner Bros. Pictures’ Fantastic Beasts films with the iconic British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
Where guests will enter the iconic green pipe and discover a new way to play as they step into the worlds of beloved characters like Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Donkey Kong.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Where guests can soar with dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures based on the wildly popular How to Train Your Dragon film franchise.
Dark Universe
Where guests encounter everything from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery.
Introducing Three New Universal Hotels
Universal Helios Grand Hotel
Located inside Epic Universe at the end of Celestial Park is Universal Helios Grand Hotel, designed to transport guests to a world where the heavens and earth unite – complete with 500 rooms, one-of-a-kind views and its very own dedicated entrance into the theme park.
Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort
Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort will each feature 750 guest rooms in the resort’s Prime Value category – bringing the total number of guest rooms across the destination to 10,500 – and are slated to open in early 2025.
In addition to raising the bar for theme park innovation, this park is Universal Destinations & Experiences’ latest development to integrate energy efficiency and sustainable construction practices starting in the design of this exciting, new destination.
Expanding our Universe
UDX is also introducing new products and experiences to new people, in new markets and on new platforms, recently breaking ground on two new concepts.
Universal Kids Resort
Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, is the company’s first-ever theme park designed specifically for families with young children. Universal Kids Resort will include a theme park featuring immersive themed lands that celebrate Universal’s iconic brand of entertainment, humor and fun – bringing to life its beloved characters and stories in ways that will wow the youngest theme park goers. It will feature family-friendly attractions, interactive and playful shows, unique merchandise, fun food and beverage venues and character meet and greets. The resort area will also include a 300-room themed hotel giving families a place to stay and to play following their day of adventure.
Universal Horror Unleashed
Universal Horror Unleashed is its first-ever year-round horror experience coming to Las Vegas. The new concept – to be located at AREA15 in Las Vegas — pairs the company’s impressive expertise in the horror genre with next-level immersive experiences in an all-new format. A variety of unique, immersive, and horror-centric experiences will surround eerie eateries and bone-chilling bar areas. It will deliver on the thrills Universal’s horror fans have come to love and excite anyone looking for a new level of experiential entertainment. In addition, guests can expect a continuously updated experience with must-see seasonal events and one-of-a-kind merchandise.
